What is Gunshot Detection?

Instead of using microphones or infrared sensors, the this solution relies on simple concussive force recognition sensors to detect gunshots. When a gun is fired, the bullet creates a shockwave as it exits the barrel of the gun and travels through the air. This shockwave creates a unique concussive force that the device is able to detect.  We integrate this device into our audio and video systems to provide early detection and verification so law enforcement can deescalate an active shooter situation quickly.
